Our kits use standard-size pots with a split (knurled) shaft.

If you are planning an electronics upgrade, shop for standard-size, split-shaft pots to match. These are the most common type, so replacements are widely available.

Upgrade tips

• Match standard to standard so the pots seat in the existing holes.
• Use split-shaft knobs to fit the knurled shaft.
• Measure for exact fit. Hole and cavity sizes vary slightly between units, so once the kit arrives, pull one stock pot and measure before buying. Taking the part to the store as a sample is the easiest way to match it.
