We stand behind the quality of our DIY guitar kits. If something arrived damaged, defective, or a part is missing, we have you covered for 30 days from the date you receive your order. For full details, please see our Refund Policy.

What Is Covered

All parts and workmanship defects reported within 30 days of receiving your order are covered. This includes damaged parts, manufacturing defects, and missing components.

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by assembly errors, alterations, or adjustments to the product. We will still help - reach out to our Builder Success team and we will walk you through a solution.
  • Damage caused by humidity changes, such as cracking, warping, or veneer separation. See our guide: Fixing Cracks and Loose Neck Joints Caused by Humidity
  • Natural wood variations such as grain pattern differences or minor veneer imperfections. Every piece of wood is unique.

How We Resolve Issues

Depending on the issue, we may:

  • Send a free replacement part
  • Offer a partial refund so you can source the fix locally
  • Offer a full refund for major defects that cannot be resolved

For replacement parts, we may ask you to return the defective part before we ship the replacement. We cover return shipping for defective parts when required.

How to Report a Defect

  • Include clear photos or videos showing the defect, along with your order number
  • Our support team will review and work with you on the best solution
