Can I Customize Pickup Routing or Other Features on Stock Kits?Updated 8 days ago

Our stock DIY kits come with standard pickup routing and specifications depending on the model (e.g., ST-style with three single coils, LP-style with dual humbuckers, etc.). These routes and specs are fixed and cannot be changed on stock kits.

If you want the same kit but with different parts (such as alternate pickups, electronics, or other modifications), this moves the project into Custom Shop territory.

Custom Shop Options

If you want to:

• Change pickup routing (e.g., HSH, HH, P90s, etc.)

• Modify control layouts

• Request other body or neck changes

You’ll need to place an order through our Custom Shop.

Important Notes

• Custom routing and modifications are not guaranteed but may be possible depending on your request.

• Custom Shop kits usually start at over $400, compared to our more affordable stock kits.

• Delivery time is significantly longer: around 8 months (including production and shipping).

• The Custom Shop is best for players who want unique configurations that aren’t available in our standard lineup.
