Every kit with magnetic pickups ships with stock ceramic magnet pickups. That covers every magnetic pickup type we use: P90, humbucker, mini humbucker, single-coil and bass pickups. (Our acoustic-electric kits use a piezo pickup, which has no magnet.)

Every stock kit page lists this in its Electronics specs as Pickup Magnets: Ceramic.

Ceramic pickups are widely used in entry-level and mid-range guitars because they give strong output at an affordable price.

Prefer alnico? Alnico pickups are a popular aftermarket upgrade, and you can install them in place of the stock pickups when you wire your kit.
